Yau is passionate in school projects with a decade’s experience in educational design. Schools are fascinating to Yau Nga as each project is bespoke and embraces diverse typologies from specialist STEM centres to informal collaboration nooks to multipurpose halls to bring the community together. Since 2010, she has worked on a range of education projects for different client bodies such as the Victorian School Building Authority, Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools, The Ministry of Education in New Zealand, and several independent and religious schools
